At Fostering People we have launched our Language that Cares Charter in consultation with children and young people to help ensure that we all use language which is more positive and more importantly sanctions by our children and young people.

Following a consultation with our children and young people from across our fostering agencies, I am delighted to be able to launch our ‘Language That Cares’ SPEAKING charter, a pledge which we will all actively sign up to across Fostering People. The words we use about our children and young people from this point forwards will be more positive, based on strengths and more importantly, have been driven and sanctioned by our children and young people.
