Fostering People’s Reverse Advent Calendar

Fostering People provide support for families this December.

2020 has been a very difficult year for most of us, but for some people 2020 has brought additional challenges and hardships.

We have seen on the news campaigns to ensure children still have access to free meals during school holidays and how child poverty is on the rise.

Inspired to help, a young person connected to Fostering People in our West Midlands team had the wonderful idea of getting people to do a Reverse Advent Calendar for local charities.

We thought this was a wonderful way of doing a little something to help.  Our West Midland’s foster families and staff and their families have been making a donation each day, of food and other living essentials which are being donated to The Alice Charity in Newcastle under Lyme and Leslie’s Care Packages in the Black Country.

They are putting these into decorated boxes to give a much needed boost to families in need this Christmas.
