Children help us to celebrate our 25th Anniversary

Our Children and Young People's voice is really important to us at Fostering People. So at our latest Children's Council we asked children to share their views with us, and share their ambitions for the next 25 years.

We have recently met with our Children's Council.  Its a great day, where children living with our foster parents can come together with members of the team, including myself as Registered Manager, to share their views and opinions about Fostering People.

Later in the year we'll be celebrating our 25th Anniversary, and we asked our young people to help us mark this very special occasion.

This involved getting paint everywhere, as we took lots and lots of handprints, which we will use to make a great piece of art in our head office.

We also asked the young people to share their views with us too, which will also be captured in our art piece.

Lots of video was also taken, to incorporate in a celebratory film, later in the year.  After all the work was done, views were shared and video captured, it was off to a local restaurant for lunch, before enjoying an afternoon of fun, trampolining.

We finished off the day, with some lovely gift bags for all our young people.  A very big thank you to Hawkens Gingerbread, for their wonderful donation of their amazing gingerbread men.  They went down a treat!
