Snow Day Noises

A snow day has arrived, it crunches at your feet

We need to stay inside to feel the warmth and heat.

There are lots of noises in our house today,

with me AJ & Esme whilst we all play.

AJ shouts and Esme giggles,

TV plays music and I start to wiggle.

The dryer is drumming,

The toilet is flushing,

Dogs are barking and

The fridge is humming.

Miss Wood sends some homework,

so, the printer is whizzing,

I open some pop and then it starts fizzing.

Taps are running as we clean the pots,

Kettle is boiling because we’re making hot chocs!

A fox in our garden sniffing at the snow

Rain tapping and wind blowing on the window.

Other noises including crisp packets rustling and kids running

Are just some others I can hear,

I hope I’m back at school tomorrow then I will cheer!
